Over the past 3 years, I have switched over all of my traditional store bought cleaners to one single bottle, Thieves Household Cleaner. Thieves Household Cleaner is an all purpose cleaner formulated with 100% plant & mineral based ingredients. I feel good knowing that my cleaning products are safe to use around my family & pets! Thieves Household Cleaner also smells like Christmas in a bottle; blended with clove, lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus, and rosemary essential oils.
These recipes are making me want to clean my home, organize all the things, and start fresh for the new season ahead!
Here are my favorite DIY recipes using Thieves Household Cleaner:
ALL PURPOSE CLEANER // 1 capful with 16oz water in a spray bottle.
DEGREASER // light- 1 capful to 32oz water in a spray bottle, heavy- 1 capful to 8oz water in a spray bottle.
GLASS & MIRRORS // 1/2 capful with 16oz water in a spray bottle.
STAIN REMOVER ROLL-ON // 1/4 capful in a 10ml roller bottle, fill with water, then apply to stains & wash as normal.
MATTRESS POWDER // 1/4 capful, 1 1/2 cups of baking soda. Combine together, sprinkle on your mattress, leave for 2-3 hours, then vacuum. Repeat every 3 to 4 months.
TUB, TILE, AND STAINLESS STEEL SCRUB // 2 capfuls, 1 cup baking soda, 15 drops of any citrus essential oil (I love lemon, orange, or citrus fresh), combine, and store in a 16oz glass jar.
WOOD FLOOR CLEANER // 2 capfuls, 5 drops citrus essential oil, 1 cup olive oil, 1 gallon warm water.
JEWELRY CLEANER // 1/2 capful, 1 tsp baking soda, 2-4 drops of lemon essential oil. Combine in a small glass jar, drop jewelry in, soak for a few minutes, brush with an old tooth brush, and rinse. Get ready for some BLING!
