25 Ways to Add Joy to Your Day

Life has slowed down so much since the start of this “stay at home” order and sometimes it’s hard to find ‘joy’ in our day. Today, I am finding joy in the long walk I took with my boyfriend Dane in an outfit I’ve never worn.

I want to focus on the positive and share some simple ways to add joy to your day!

25 ways to add joy to your day:

  1. Long walks around the neighborhood.
  2. Diffuse your favorite essential oils.
  3. Wake up early & do a short yoga class.
  4. Make a whipped coffee drink.
  5. Try out a new recipe – I’m going to try making banana bread!
  6. Video call with friends & family.
  7. Write yourself a thank you note.
  8. Try a new workout video.
  9. Have an at home spa day filled with bubble baths & lavender essential oil.
  10. Buy a new pair of shoes – this one is my fav!
  11. Send flowers to a loved one.
  12. Clean out your closet & filling up a box to donate.
  13. Draw for fun in a coloring book.
  14. Create a list of 10 things you love about your significant other/ partner.
  15. Dance to your favorite song.
  16. Meditate.
  17. Find a nice patch of grass & have a picnic.
  18. Write a letter to your grandparents.
  19. Find a piece of jewelry you haven’t worn in awhile & put it on.
  20. Bake something that will make your whole house smells good.
  21. Start planning your next vacation.
  22. Start a new hobby.
  23. Write down your thoughts in a journal.
